how is studying at ESEM?

        First, let me explain what is this school.  It's located at Rio de Janeiro, but the school except students from all of Brazil, for example, I'm from Alagoas.

 
        For we be accepted, we have to go through a selection process which lasts about 6 months. The process is based on pre-registration, the registration validation, test and an interview whit the parents.
        SESC high school it's a private non-political education organization aimed at catering for nearly five hundred students.
        I never thought of studying   in a boarding   school and when I found out that school existed I thought it would be only nerd student, but  I'm here.
        It is such a good way to gain maturity. If i was studying in my town I would never have acquired much experience as here, believe it or not but I had never washed my clothes only. It's almost like this when I try to get my socks out of machine.

        Sometimes it's difficult handle whit the homesick but your friends and teachers are here  to help whit those things

But, I do not have words to explain how good study here. I have a video that my group did showing a little of the routine that we have here.

National Week of Science and Technology

   At ESEM happened the National Week of Science and Technology. The first year dive right in to face challenges of all the subjects.

   In the first day at the beach my class had so much fun.My favourite part was when the students collected trash from the beach. This was a great idea for teachers.

   The challenges at school were incredible. I loved to assemble a scale model and try to throw without breaking an egg of three meters of height.

   During the days my class joined a lot to solve the challenges and in the end we were in third place, which for me was fantastic.The prize after everything we've been through was not so important. 

   And today at the end of the year I already feel the tight heart because I will have another class.

But I know that everything we went through this week and all year was a great learning and were moments that will be eternalized in my heart.

   I will finish now because I’m already melancholy.

ESEM

      Before I came to Esem, I imagined here was very different, but I don´t remember how I imagined here, I just know that I didn’t imagine Esem like it is (lol), but I always stayed so excited to be here and to know how the things happens here, how different, and how would I love this place.

      I’ve not arrived here in the same time of everyone, I arrived one month after, so it was more different and weird for me, because everybody was accustomed to be here and knew how the thinks works here, and they were already studying, so I was the different one from everybody, I thought that I wouldn’t lift the weight, but I got used so quickly and many people helped me, thank God.

      This year was so good, passed so faster, and unfortunately the year is ending and I’ll miss the third year so so so so so so much, but this makes part, we won true friends for all the life, independent of the distance we’ll continues together. But next year I’ll be second year, and I can’t believe in that, passed so faster, my god, and I’ll be a godmother, gosh (lol).

      Esem It’s one place so beautiful and I love here, we have so many opportunities which we have to enjoy, because it’s only one time we have this chance, and think, so many people wanted to be in our place, so, enjoy every second, because after everything will works.

Carnival

Ahhh... carnival, time of the year that you can have fun anywhere, anytime. It's so incredible that we can see party in every place. Last year I went to Rio das Ostras and it was awesome, my parents have a house there and we could go to any place we wanted, we used to go to the beach (it's one of my favourites) in the morning and at night we used to go partyyy, it was so fun, I met so many friends in there, we were like inseparables.

Why I want to be a bear?

Bears are amazing.I love bears.They like honey and I hate honey.But that's the only thing that we don't have in cummom.Bears like to sleep.I love sleeping.Bears can sleep more than 5 months,that's a long time for sleeping.

Bears have the power of hibernate.My dream is to have such a power.I think we,humans, should have the hability of sleep more and more.Because if you asks,EVERYONE loves sleeping.

Bears also love eating.And guess what?I LOVE EATING.Bears usually eat berries and honey in addition of other types of food.

After reading some stuffs in the internet I found that BEARS ARE SUPER SMART(like me).They know how to use obejects such as rocks,And scientists also are studying more about that discovery and some of them may say that bears are smart like 3 years old human children.

BEARS ARE HUGE.I wish I was huge(or maybe just a bit huge).They can measure until 3 metters and weight more than 1 ton.

Bears die young.I want to die young.30 years are just enough.You can eat and sleep a lot in 30 years.

NOW LET'S TALK ABOUT POLAR BEARS.

I LOOOVEEE POLAR BEARS.They are beautiful and they live in cold places(WITH SNOW).I love snow.What can you wish more tha this?That's the perfect life.Everyone in Earth should live like this.

WHAT?

        Hi guys, did you hear that when you don't expect something it happens? So, this happened to my class! Let me explain to you.

        This month we had the Sience and Tecnology Week. It´s nothing less than a week where there are a number of challenges involving all school subjects. It was an AMAZING week, we went to the beach, and beyond all learning that we had, it was very good do unite our class (1A).
        Before reciving the results we weren´t so hopeful, but we ended up whith the third place, and it was great!
        A few days after the result, appered in Z.E.L.O an outing whith our class, we were like:

 

        We thought it was some sort of reward for third place, but the teacher who was accompanying us was second grade teacher and no one told us that we had an exit to the shopping, so we decided to tell the teacher that something was wrong. The teachers said that the outing wasn´t  whith our class but she took us to the cinema and we watched Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. And none of it was scheduled.

Future

               I am nervous to talk about future. Because is what will happen and decide your life.
               I do not know what I am going to eat tomorrow, imagine what I am going to be for all of my life. Really, I always think about that. Finish high school, live alone (or with friends, thing that I want a lot), university (help!), wedding and children (things that I want to a lot, especially kids).
               I want like three kids, or more. I love children and take care of then. It is amazing think that you can teach a person about the life, and do this kid be an awesome person to world.
               Psychology or medicine? It is two kinds of options about university too differents between then. And the both, to me, are wonderful. Being psychologist or a doctor you can help people.
               I am in high school, first year, 15 years old. And I always think about ENEM. I know that is just a test, but is the most important test, that decide your life. I am too nervous to do this. I did ENEM last year, and I am doing next weekend again, too practice. My focus is the text.
               Anyway, this is a part of my thoughts... Have more than that.
