ESEM, first step

      Hi guys! Today I will talk my school and how I’m happy studying here!

I study and I live in the same place: Escola SESC de Ensino Médio (ESEM), something like “SESC high school” in English. Many people say that I’m crazy because I left my home and my family in São Paulo to study in Rio de Janeiro, I agree with them in parts, I’m crazy and to study here you need to be a little bit crazy.

      Everything here is intense: studying, having fun, living together… All moments are unique.

      The first thing you do here is choosing your bed, emo, vip or pop. They are named according to the position in the room, emo is the closest to the door one, a little more forward leaning against the same wall is the pop and at the pop’s right leaning against the other wall is vip.

      According your room’s floor, you pertain to some house, Esparta is first floor, Aureum is
second floor and Olimpo is the third one. Each house has a history and principles, the second
and third year students usually teach that to the new ones. After vacation happen a tournament
where the houses compete for the taça das casas, something like “house’s cup in English.
This year Esparta won the cup, <3 my house.
