Vacations

      So, we are in the last two weeks of the year in esem. 2016 was amazing, and I hope 2017 can be better. I enjoyed a lot the school and met my best friends.

Last week, I was thinking about my vacations, and what I would like to do. I hope I can go to my friend’s house and watch a lot of movies of my list.

     I know I will miss my friends of school, because it’s three moths far away of them. But I can enjoy the time with my family.

Having pets is like...

Unusual, not the bad kind of ''unusual'', it's like a different situation everytime, I remember once that I was trying so hard to sleep but I couldn't, cause I was having a bad feeling and I didn't know why and then my little girl, called Lilica, which is a such small and adorable dog, came and jumped into my bed by my side and stayed there until I could get sleep, immediately the feeling was gone, it's incredible how these little ones can make our day or even our lifes better, they can pass good feelings without asking anything in return, and I think, that's one of the most beatiful things in life, in them, and yet there are people who can mistreat them, as if they were nothing, even if we try, we couldn't love like them, we don't allow ourselves, and that's a truly shame.

i want to go to rock in rio, i want it so much. Oh my god, it is the second time that Red Hot Chili Peppers will come to Brazil and i can't go, it really makes me bad, it's my favorite band and one of my dreams is go to one show of them, but it is so expensive for my parents that I don't want to ask for to them too, i just can wait the band comes back and see if i can buy to myself the tickets. I will wait and one day I promisse, I will go

I will play guitar all my vacation, I miss it a lot, if you have any instrument, so you know how you have love for it, my guitar have a soul, a shine soul, one day, I want to play it for the rest of the world. do music is one of the mosts brilhancy talents of the humans, it makes you smile, cry, dream, see another world. Listen, play and at first of all, enjoy of how the music can be a gift of gods

Sometimes we have to change, sometimes we're changes. Don't never give up if you really want something, actually I'm trying to change myself, so I know how it can be hard, but you just need to want, be the difference, be better, stay in peace inside and outside with yourself, I'm sure that all is possible if you make it be possible, so go ahead and show what you got.

  In the first month everything was new, now it has become a routine and I have become accustomed to living here.

  Getting to know the tutoria was so strange and before I thought it would not work with my classmates and Isabel. But over time our relationship has improved and today I feel good and confident in speaking everything in the tutoria and asking for help from my tutora.

   My room has done well since the beginning and today they are the most important people in the school for me. Although everyone has strong personality we can deal well with this.

   The floor at the beginning was very far away but today, especially after the tournament, it was united enough.

   My class was the best class I could have. We always get along and today we are united and usually we are together and there I feel happy and it is like a family.

  Today I am more responsible and I feel more autonomous. Now I feel part of this and I feel happy and grateful for everything that I have experienced.

   The Gabriela in the first month did not feel prepared and nor did the penny dropped that I was here. The Gabriela today, missing a month to go home, is not prepared to be second year but anxious to live what is to come.

The ESEM...

 The ESEM was simply the best opportunity I've ever had in life, if you do not know I'll tell you a little bit.

Here you will have contact with people from all over Brazil and this is an incredible chance to get to know different cultures. It is cool to hear different accents, typical foods and the way of life of each one.

  The infrastructure is sensational, gym, library, classrooms, theater, restaurant ... Everything will always be done to ensure a good stay in the three years.

  Teaching in here goes way beyond the classroom, you're learning 24 hours. In the classroom there are only 15 students, making learning easier.

  The teachers are incredible and will be willing to help whenever possible and your relationship will certainly be beyond that.

  Here you find a new family and quickly you feel part of it all and that here is your place.

   The school looks beautiful from the outside but the best part is being in here.

It's difficul to say goodbye ...

   Yesterday happenned a meeting of my floor that was named after the monitors, because they are leaving next month.

   My bedroom was responsible for opening the meeting with a text and it was beautiful!!! We thank for everything they've done for us, for laughter, advice and hugs. They did not give up on us when all things were difficult and for always being on our side. Madhu, Lari and Cassia are amazing and we will miss you a lot.

   The floor made a wonderful video that made the girls cry and there was the demonstration of the love and affection that we created for them during that year.

   This day will remain in my memory forever as a very special moment!!!!

My routine in ESEM are busy. Every day i Wake up 7:40, like late but have time to brush my teeths, take a fast shower and wear my uniform. After i finsih my three classes, i drink coffe with milk in colation. After eating , i go to my room and have more three times of class. After all classes, final is time to lunch , Always i’m very hungry so is my party, drinking Orange juice is all in my life. I really like it.

Sometimes i have extra courses, like theater or germany, i like doing too. I know that this experiencies is unique and i want to enjoy all i can.

I still having time to have dinner with my godmother and godfather. It is always funny eating with them, i know i’ll miss them a lot too.

My life in Esem

My life in Esem ,this year is wonderful, at the beggining i was thinking a lot in my city and my friends, but i make more friends already. Now, i'm bad for the time is ending , and i will have to stay far with peoples that i met currently but are near to me 
Teachers here are more sociable and true friends.In english class, i love when Andrea give advices for us. In the class i have created ties with many friends that i'll try to keep for rest of my life. i joined a football team , i always played soccer in my city, here i found some friends that play too, so we decide to make a team.
In this last semester i met a girl that i like too much, i'm so happy cause of this, it was a funny story of how we started talking, but this i can talk in another postage...Are u curious?

           Hello my name is João Guilherme Almeida Couto and today I will speak about my new home ESEM.
         I'm from Paraná, Joaquim Távora. My city is a small place it has 12.000 habitants. The life there is quiet, It's a good place to grow up, but I choice ESEM.
Well when I arrived in ESEM I think OMG waht I'm doing of my life. I really have certainty about what I'm doing, but in this moment I thougth I need do this, it's an important moment of my life and I can't fail.
          Also when I saw what the school is, I see who was the best choice of my my life, the people,  the teachers, my room all was great to me and still are. Now my life is more interesting, I have more things to do and more games to play, my favorite game is foosball, I really liked this game, in my first monthy here I just play it, but I pay less nowadays. In short I just have to thank Esem for this opportunity.


         

          Hello, my name is João Guilherme Almeida Couto and today I will speak about an awesome cellebration, called Halloween, and tell some one of my experiences.

          When I  was a child I watched a lot of american movie what showed this celebration, so I was thinking how would be cool to play halloween with all city. I started playing in 2009, when my school go out with my class asking for candy, it was amazing and fun. My mother made a costum of pirate for me and I really liked it.            

 Now in esem ( Escola Sesc de Ensino Médio) I can celebrate this again. The students here make a lot of cool costumes of monsters, characters of cartoons, series and movies, and I am sure this halloween will be so cool like some years ago..

Well, halloween is a celtic celebration where people use monsters costumes and go out asking for candy. There is a typical sentence sayed by children, "trick or treat." If you say trick, the childrens will make a prank with you, but if you say treat, you just need to give candy for them.

Greetings, my name is João Guilherme Almeida Couto and today I gonna discuss the events that are happening in syria.
 It is known to everyone that syria is passing by political and social crisis, due to a civil war happening in the state. Although the actual war was very predictable, if we analise the past situations that syria was facing with both arabian an russian state, the proportions that the war is taking are phenomenal, and we have never seen anything like this in the past decade.
 In my personal point of view, discussing this topic is a very important task since it is an recent and relevant topic for today's news.

Let's talk about changes

I noticed that we on ESEM are always passing to changes, it can be phisically or psychologically. Here we are ''forced'' to live with new people for a minimun period of 1 year, in the middle of this, we create a relationship with this people, we accostumate to go to the class and see all this, now familiar, faces day by day. And when one year ends, we have to say good bye, with the insecurity that we dont know if we're going to talk face to face, or basically speak with their.
Is really difficult to me think that all is changing at all time. Nothing can be forever with we dont have the opportunities or fight to be.
I'm afraid of the unknown, of what could happen. Life is a chest of secrets, and we cant open until we go out our comfort zone.

What happened in one ESEM's year

My 2016 was and still amazing. I think i enjoyed as most as i could, i did things and met people that i never thought doing and meeting.

Going to esem was a decision that i'll never regret, i had opportunities that i know i wont have in any place i had gone. The courses of saxophone, germany and the classes on saturday to learn how to do a official research are something that i'll carry with me for all my life.

We learn a lot of things here that go beyond of the knowledge we get in the normal schools. We are alwas working on group, respecting the differences, contacting with people from all the cities on Brazil, that's no word for describe how good is studying here.

What change in my home when i'm here? I missed my brothers more than ever, and the hugs of my parents now seens like the best thing i need.

My vision of the world changed too, it looks like now i'm more politicized and i'm more interested of the situation our country is in, i think thats a strong point ESEM work on us, to create a critic thinking of everything the media throws on us.

I love being here, it's a shock for me thinking that already passed one year, and how fast the time goes away, soon we'll be in the 3rd year. I dont want to miss a thing.

My first dancing class                        

       I can remember that day very well. It was magical.                        
       I was five years old. As soon as I arrived, there were many older girls dancing. Everything was so synchronized. All seemed so easy. They looked like they were feathers, floating with the air and the song reproduced by a piano.                        
        When their class finished, it was my turn. This was the time I realized that it's not so easy. My teacher was serious that when I saw her, I was afraid. But, Passing the time, I perceived that this serious face was necessary and nowadays I thank her, because since that day I'm in love with dance

I just love music

    My mother always say to me when i was a kid, i sang all the time, even in bad moments. My father believes that i'm his life soundtrack and the a reason that every day, when he turns on the radio, he remember me. People always ask to me why i like singing oll the time and so much, but I don´t know how explain, i just love, it`s an other universe. I can notice in the body expressions in almost all people: if the music reminds them someone,  if they play an instrument,  if they like dance and a lot others things.  I know that the song sounds so individual, but it's only from a distance, if you can in, the next time when you´re with a musician, notice those things i told in that text. I realy believe that my love can take me anywhere, tt´s my way of communicating both between the people and between my heart and my soul. I just love, i just sing.

The day that everything has changed.
A mix of curiosity, anxiety and fear were all over me. Finally my first day at Sesc school has arrived. I have waited so long for that day, and it was there, right in front of me, and it wasn't a dream anymore, it was real. Everything went different from what I thought it will be, after all we almost never get right what is going to happen. I thought I would get in the school, go to my bedroom to organize my things, but no, it was a chaos since I put my feet in there. I'm not complaining, because it was one of the best days in my life, but that it was full of emotions I can't deny. Got of the bus and there were a bunch of seniors yelling and asking "did someone has already received you?". Two wonderful people received me, and I'm close to them ever since. The first thing they gave to me was a checklist with the things that I would have to do during the day, and they helped me doing those things, making me to be admired with the good will of the people to help me, since then I study in a house school, different of anything that I have ever lived, and even that it has its defects, I learn in every day that passes to be a better person.
