WHAT?

        Hi guys, did you hear that when you don't expect something it happens? So, this happened to my class! Let me explain to you.

        This month we had the Sience and Tecnology Week. It´s nothing less than a week where there are a number of challenges involving all school subjects. It was an AMAZING week, we went to the beach, and beyond all learning that we had, it was very good do unite our class (1A).
        Before reciving the results we weren´t so hopeful, but we ended up whith the third place, and it was great!
        A few days after the result, appered in Z.E.L.O an outing whith our class, we were like:

 

        We thought it was some sort of reward for third place, but the teacher who was accompanying us was second grade teacher and no one told us that we had an exit to the shopping, so we decided to tell the teacher that something was wrong. The teachers said that the outing wasn´t  whith our class but she took us to the cinema and we watched Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. And none of it was scheduled.

Future

               I am nervous to talk about future. Because is what will happen and decide your life.
               I do not know what I am going to eat tomorrow, imagine what I am going to be for all of my life. Really, I always think about that. Finish high school, live alone (or with friends, thing that I want a lot), university (help!), wedding and children (things that I want to a lot, especially kids).
               I want like three kids, or more. I love children and take care of then. It is amazing think that you can teach a person about the life, and do this kid be an awesome person to world.
               Psychology or medicine? It is two kinds of options about university too differents between then. And the both, to me, are wonderful. Being psychologist or a doctor you can help people.
               I am in high school, first year, 15 years old. And I always think about ENEM. I know that is just a test, but is the most important test, that decide your life. I am too nervous to do this. I did ENEM last year, and I am doing next weekend again, too practice. My focus is the text.
               Anyway, this is a part of my thoughts... Have more than that.

Go to ESEM...

   Go to Escola Sesc de Ensino Médio means leaving your family and friends. Of course that they. Of course they understand that is best for you and for your future but stay away is difficult. You lost lunch on Sunday with your Family, friend’s birthdays,the Mother's Day. Things that before were part of your life and routine in Araxá.
   Here I am very happy!!! The school is fantastic, I make new friends and I am building my future. Certainly this is the best place for me to be now.
   Now I feel that my heart is divided between the missing there and be happy here. It's like I was never complete, ESEM is already a part of who I am but Araxá will always be part of me.

Boo!! It's Halloween Time!

Hello guys!! And welcome to the best holiday of the year (for me). I thought I would never join in the real essence of this party... But in ESEM (my school) is totally different then my city. It's the coolest party here, because we can be anyone and we can scare everyone. Yesterday my friend Tailer used improvised costume of terrorist and he won the most creative costume prize, i'm happy for him.

VACATION

I really want the vacation coming soon, for several reasons. First I am miss my mother, my sister and my bed. Second, in this vacation I will travel and a love travel. I am counting the days and today there are 39 days for the classes over and I am very happy. Stay at home it is very good, I can wake late, watch a lot of series episodes, read a book unhurried and haven´t nothing to do.

   I will can do normal things like go to supermarket or pharmacy walking, go to bakery in the morning, eat while watch TV, don´t have composition to deliver, go out in the middle of the week as if it were weekend, don’t worry because already Sunday and tomorrow will be Monday. That´s way a love the vacation.

How was my old routine?

  

 Well, In the morning I wake up 6 a.m. for take a shower, wear me, have a breakfast and help my mother to do the same thing with my sisters. We went out of home and left my sisters to nursery school, after that my mom left me in my school and went to worked. I studied at the morning and afternoon, so I lunched in the school, sometimes I was going to home for lunch and rest, because my class just started at 1:30 p.m.

   In the Mondays and Thursday when the class ended I went to gym after I went to English class then to home. In Tuesday I didn’t go to English class, but for ballet class. In the Friday my class ended in the lunch hour, so in afternoon I stayed in home sleeping. In the weekend I went out with my friends or my family for the shopping, cinema or ice cream shop.

6 months at my life this year

January i stayed at home, only relax with my family, videogames, books,snacks...

February are diferent, there  Carnival, i went to the beach with my Brothers, aunts, cousins ... everybody in beach playing football ,eating barbecue and swimming so much.

March is the most special month in the world, WHY? I know you thought, thats correct, yes,yes its my birthday. I saw the majority of my friends and , no more important, i received gifts. ^_^

April , oh april, there are nothing importante in april. I think with i made nothing in april. Ok,ok i watched a lot of movies , are you serious edson? Yes, so cool no? ‘Yes man’ ,interesting not? Bye. -.-

May, maaaay , there are the day of work , yes man , i work hard at this day , i stand up 12 p.m and had luch with coca cola. You think it's easy? No man , no it. I pass my day eating pop corns and seen movies at my sister. This work is not for everyone!!! :D

Ok, ok thats juny , Valentine's Day , I have a bad notice to tell you , i not pass with my girlfriend, WHY? I only had one month later, hahaha yes, you can smile..

My Future and Canada

Hello again! What do you thing about the theme of this post? Talking about my last weekend (again)?  NoOoO, I’m really tired with this kind of post (I’ve posted a lot of them, like three or four, something like this). Today, I’ll say about my future plans and the Canada (Yeah, Future! Nothing worring! And Canada, because… you’ll see).

Well, let’s start this. I think I never said in this blog about Canada, that I love too much (so now I had already said). I really hope move there to study, work and, maybe, stay forever. The admission process is very slowly and very complex, but I think I can do it without problems, because I really want to go there. My favorite city from Canada is Toronto, is next of Ottawa, the capital of the country. These two cities are located in Ontario’s province.

So, my future is basically resumed in a just sentence: I’ll move to Canada and I’ll do everything there. But first, I’m thinking about study in the Federal University from my state, Santa Catarina, and after this, I’ll go.

I really don’t know what I’ll do in my future, but I know some things I have sure I won’t do, like Medicine, Arts or Engineer, because I wouldn’t like to stay responsible to save life’s people or build a house for them.

I think the future can be great, and it depends just of me, if I want, I can do everything.

Technology in Classrooms

Ok. Writing about my weekend isn't the most original thing to do (Because I do it every time). So, in this post, I'm thinking in something different to write, and what do you think about technology in the classrooms?  If you don’t know, here, in Brazil, is uncommon see teachers using a computer or something like this in public schools, and the students mustn’t use the cellphone or your computer to do exercises, a search, or another didactic thing. So, our public schools are very delayed compared to the private schools. For example, in this school, we have contact with the technology every time in the classroom. A great example is this blog, because this is our evaluation of writing.

If you don’t know, the technology, when we use correctly, can help too much to learn and take off questions. The internet has a lot of good things to help us, and the computers can optimize the time because the teachers don’t need to write in the board, they just need sending to the students or projecting on the digital board. I think we need to change this situation as soon as possible to improve our education, but I live in Brazil, and the actual situation isn’t very good for us, if you know what I mean…

An Old Vacation

               When I were a kid, in my vacations and holidays, me and my family (part of my dad) ALWAYS went to Guriri. This place is a beach of Espirito Santo, Brazil. My grandfather has a big house there, so everybody can stay together.
               Really, me and my cousins loves Guriri so much. We had a lot of things to do there. Like, we invited a lot of differents jokes. Water park, neighbor´s pool, beach, plays domino with my drunk dad...
               My rotine was: wake up 6am, breakfast (always bread and my grandmother´s cookies), go to beach early. When I came home, the barbecue was already done. My grandpa did. Always, with my uncle Jumar. And a big french fries bowl was waiting for us. It was so good. Then, we ate and waited for enter in the pool.
               We cooked a lot. My Godmother (I love her so much, omG) cooks so well. Her candy is the best of the world. I ate too much when I go there.
               In the evening, we usually went to "night". And ate ice cream. Now, It is açaí.
               I loved doing all that. Oh, I forgot: cards. I love too. My grandpa taught me and my cousins.
               I miss that.

If...

Last class I learned about first conditional... This subject is easy, but like always, I was traveling at class. I understood, however I have to be sincere, part of my understanding was because I've studied before! Although I though a thing that is true. The world today are full of "IF", If something happen, I will do something. If they do, I will do.. GUYS STOP, forget about "IF", do the things that you wanna do; Do the thing that you have to do.

HI GYUS!

 I know that i didn't set up with the commitment but I will (that's a promise) pay it.

  Last week I was at my roommate house with my other roommate, summing up the whole room was at Guarapuava- Paraná. 

  It was amazing, we did a lot of things like eating a lot (that's not a surprise), we did a trail, a really beautiful trail at Salto São Francisco, I have some pictures to show you.

   At thalita's house i had my hair cut, I was REALY afraid because I didn't want to cut too much, and i asked the hairdresser to cut like V, and when a saw a great amount hair on the floor i just wanted to cry, I have told her that I just wanted to cut the ends. Look what I saw:

AND NO, IT WASN'T COLD IN PARANA, IT WAS HOTTER THAN HEEL (sometimes)

Science and tecnology week!

Hi guys! Alles blau?? I think that is strange to say “Alles Blau” it’s like “Is everything blue?” in German. It doesn’t exist in the German that people in Germany speak, but people with German descent in south of Brazil usually use it.

Well, I’m not here today to talk about stranger things in German. I’m here to talk about the science and technology week and how it was amazing!

To start my week, on Tuesday I took a basic 3d designer course to 3d printer, and now I can use (if my teacher authorizes) the school’s printer. My first project will be a key chain that I haven’t finished yet, but now I’m more worried about something that a really need to do this week, like study to my tests, maybe on second half of November I’ll think about my 3d projects with more care.

On Wednesday my class went to Itaipu beach and archeology museum and it was amaaaaaaaaazing!!!! I learned a lot about groups of people that lived in Brazilian coast before the Indians and we did lots of challenges at the beach. After the academic activities we could bathe in the sea and have fun with our friends.

The other two days was challenges at school, and it was very hard but I think my class became more united before that, because we worked together to do the best for 1A and it really did worth it!

Last week was amazing

        Last week we have Science challenge here in Esem and it was wonderful. We went to Beach (Itaipu, Niterói) to have a lot of challenges. We did a solar clock, we tried to put fire in the paper (but didn't work) and we visit a museum. 
       In the school, we had challenges too. We did a model, we tried to throw a egg of a high place and not broke it (also it didn't work for class C, but others classes got it). It was three days like these, one in the beach and the others in school.
      And the best of this: we did it all on our own. If we had to find something, we did it. If we had to learn something for doing something else, we would learn it. 
And now I'm so proud of my class, because we know that we lost but we did all with dedication. 
      Thanks to all the teachers involved in last week, and thanks class C for be so dedicated.

SCIENCES OF CHALLENGE

On Tuesday the students of first year, had a lectures of open the week. On Wednesday my class went to Itaipu, for execute some challenges, a challenge that I found very interesting was collecting garbage on the beach. I believe that wasn’t only a test, but notice how much we have polluted the nature. That day we went to the Museum of Archaeology of Itaipu, and visited a Sambaqui.

On Thursday others classes went to fulfill the activities on the beach and some were in school challenges. In the during the day, two challenges called my attention, the first one, the class had to make a video explaining what was the National Science and Technology and ask for the owner of World Manual on Youtube make a comment, my class failed, but it was very interesting. The other challenge, was “egg in free fall”, we had some little materials for create strategy for throw the egg from determine height and don’t break.

HOW CAN I LOVE SERIES

               In a big part of my life, like last year, I did not watch too much series. Really, is like, I just watched on Warner Channel, and channels like that.

             Then, I met Netflix. My new love. He nevers leave me. And now, watch series is all that I want. In the last holiday, I spent a lot of time doing that. It is so good. I am not like in begging of this year, going to parties, walking in the school too much, I prefer stay in my bed, watching my serie.

               But a thing that I can not understand is: everybody watch a lot of series in the same time, but I can not do this. Really. It is impossible to me. I need to finish all the serie first, to start another one. I tried to see two differents series in the same day and do not worked. 

               So I just watch my favorite serie, Once Upon A Time, that I am finishing, then I will start another one. But I love watching this, it is so magical and different.

               A serie that EVERYBODY say to me to watch is: Stranger Things. Really. And now I am thinking to do that. Maybe next mounth.

               If you have a good serie to say to me, help me and just say. I need to know differents series. Of course I am going to start when I finished OUAP, but I love to much, so I will not delay.

Holidays and responsibilities

      Friday, 15/10, started my holiday. It was three days of happiness and love in Esem. Let's start for Saturday. In the morning I was so happy because I thought that I had the all holiday to enjoy; it was many things to do, and study was one of them. My friend invited me to play RPG and we played all morning. In the afternoon, I watched The Conjuring 2 (a great movie) and I feel happy for not been afraid of this.
  On the Sunday I went to pool and it was amazing. My friends were there and we have a good time together, and after this, we had the “Lanchão” with ice cream, perfect for after the pool. On the Monday, I went swim too. And I met the aunt of my friend, she’s so lovely! I hope see her again. 

How I was this holiday.

     But, it was in the night of Monday that I thought “My god, I forgot my responsibilities and to study for the test of next week”. I’m a lucky person, because I saw if I had a homework and I haven’t. Please, don’t do what I did. Do your homework BEFORE you go to the pool, or see a movie, or play RPG.

My Holiday in Just Two Things: Just Dance and Pool.

Hi everyone! I'm back to talk a little about my weekend and the holidays, because I must to say it for someone! Well, Let's start right now!

On Friday, when I came to live room of my build with friends and we danced a lot in Just Dance, the better game of dance, in my opinion. This afternoon was really great and very funny. 

On Saturday was Teacher's day (Congratulations, Teacher!), so we didn't have class in the morning. I waked up early(For a holiday) and I and my friends played League of Legends(A good theme for the next post). After the lunch, We played Just Dance again, because it's the funniest thing to do in a Holiday(In my opinion). In this day, the weather was too hot, so we decided to go to the pool. 

On Sunday, I waked up really late, like 1P.M. I went to pool again with friends, because the weather was hotter than any day since I came to Rio de Janeiro.

On Monday, was Holiday AGAIN, and this week, we don't have class in the Classroom! I don't know what is happening here, but I'm enjoying too much!

I love holidays!!

Hi guys! I definitely love holidays! Last week we had two holidays and we didn’t have class on Monday because of the houses championship so this week became so soft? I think I can use this word to describe. Soft for the students, because many teachers didn’t like this week because all day were like Mondays and you know, on Mondays everybody wants to do nothing.

Forgetting about the academic aspect, that week was awesome, was perfect to relax and for the students prepare for the science and technology week that will start on Tuesday.

Gravity Falls

          Hello my name is João Guilherme Almeida Couto and today I will speak about Gravity Falls some one my favority cartoons.

          Gravity falls is an American cartoon produced by Disney Television Animation. The series follows the adventures of Dipper Pines and his sister Mabel Pines in the fictional town named Gravity Falls, Oregon, while on summer vacation. They were living with their great-uncle named Stanford Pines in "The Mystery Shack" a tourist trap where there are a lot of mysterious, paranormal forces and supernatural creatures.

          Well I love this cartoon becouse there are incredible mysteries and monster. The characters are really great and fun, my favority is the great-uncle Stanford Pines. He is great and rascal, when start to watch you will think: This guy is the worst, but with time you see that he's cool.

 

                       

 

   

                     

SERIES

These days, I am spending my time watching a lot of series, it is cool, but when I watching various and different at once, it is complicate, because sometime I don’t remember what happened in a serie. It is pretty funny.

Before I was stayed tired at the morning, because of other reason, but nowadays that classic phrase “just one more episode”.

That is just one phase. I started watch an episode after all the season, but when I stop watching one I’ll stop watch all of them. Over time happens all again, it looks like a cycle.

When I watched, I wear a clothes comfortable in my dark room with my headset and ready. Usually, I think in marathon of episodes or even marathon of seasons, for try keep the series updated, but not always it is possible.

House tornament 

       Hello, my name is João Guilherme Almeida Couto and I'm a spartan.Today I will talk about the house tornament, well the tornament is a sport competion between three houses, are they: Esparta, Aureum and Olimpo. The Esparta house won two times, the Aureum house won three times and Olimpo house won five times.

      The tornament starts with the three houses making a dance, after starts the sports. There are some sports like: soccer, table tennis, athletics and others. The winner is decided by who has the most points. In this year some strange things happened, becouse the students were crazy and started insult each others. To me the The house tornament is just a game for the students play and have fun, but they take very seriously and this is sad, but I think the next will be better than this year.
